Governing Body
The Full Governing Body meets at least once a term.
There are also committee meetings for Personal and Finance, Estates and Services and Curriculum.
Governors are appointed to help:
- Decide what is taught in school
- Set standards of attainment and behaviour
- Select and Appoint staff
- Decide how the school budget is spent
- Challenge and support the school to continually strive to improve
Governors are elected by parents, by teachers, are appointed by Calderdale Council and co-opted as representatives of the local community and business interests who each serve for four years. The minutes of meetings are available for inspection by parents.
